Born in 11th January 1877.Served in Serendah,Kuala Langsat,Raub,Kuala Kubu,Perak as assistant district officer from 1899-1906.Superintendent of Lands and Assistant Adviser of Kelantan (Aug 1915-1918).First Magistrate and Registrar of the Supreme Court in Johore (14th Jan 1920-Sept 1920).Assistant Adviser of Kedah (3rd May 1921-May 1923).Assistant Adviser at Kelantan in April 1924.Appointed as collector of land revenue in Penang from 1924 till his retirement due to ill health in 1925.He married Nellie Howell a daughter of James Howell a headmaster of Malacca High School in 1915. Born in 1878 Oakham,Rutland.Son of Dr Alfred Blake Norman & Florence East Potter of Bath.Educated at Oakham and Magdalen College,Oxford.He married Nellie Elvira Howell in Malacca.He lived at Elso Baite,Tourasse St France.Died in 1928 St Jean de Luz.France.She died in 1945 Llandudno.
