John Augustus Harwood,Acting Resident Councillor (26th Oct 1901-2nd Nov 1901)/ (26th Nov 1901- Dec 1901). I'm looking for descendants of John Augustus Harwood to share some information.Son of John Harwood (1798-1855) and Mary Ann Catherine Hudden (1818-1896).He was magistrate of Calliaqua District,St.Vincent's from 1877-1879.Appointed as magistrate in St. George's,Grenada from 1879-1881.Acted as Attorney-General in Grenada from 1880-1881.Appointed as Registrar of Supreme Court in Singapore 1896.Retired in 1901.   I'm looking for descendants of Captain Sir Francis Light,Superintendent of Penang,Malaysia from(1786-1794).His father was William Negus Francis Light.Born in Suffolk and a British Navy midshipman from 1759 to 1763, from 1765 he worked as a trader for the British East India Company and secured the island of Penang from the sultan of Kedah.He died of malaria in 1794 Penang.He married to Martina Rozells.His issue:- ai)Ann Lukey Light married Charles Hunter. aii)Sarah Light(1779-1839)married General James Welsh.Their issue:- bi)Primrose Margaret Welsh married Capt. I'm looking for descendant of Henry Norman,Acting Resident Councillor of Penang from (9th-13th April 1925). Born in 11th January 1877.Served in Serendah,Kuala Langsat,Raub,Kuala Kubu,Perak as assistant district officer from 1899-1906.Superintendent of Lands and Assistant Adviser of Kelantan (Aug 1915-1918).First Magistrate and Registrar of the Supreme Court in Johore (14th Jan 1920-Sept 1920).Assistant Adviser of Kedah (3rd May 1921-May 1923).Assistant Adviser at Kelantan in April 1924.Appointed as collector of land revenue in Penang from 1924 till his retirement due to ill health in 1925.He married Nellie Howell a daughter of James Howell a headmaster of Malacca High School in 1915. Born in 1878 Oakham,Rutland.Son of Dr Alfred Blake Norman & Florence East Potter of Bath.Educated at Oakham and Magdalen College,Oxford.He married Nellie Elvira Howell in Malacca.He lived at Elso Baite,Tourasse St France.Died in 1928 St Jean de Luz.France.She died in 1945 Llandudno.
