Looking for descendants of Jonathan Edgar Meredith Cave (1913-1968)
I am looking for descendants of Jonathan Edgar Meredith Cave,an acting Resident Commissioner of Malacca,Malaysia from (20th December 1951-?).Born in 1913 Darjeeling,Bengal.Son of George Herbert Cave & Catherine.He was educated at Prince Henry’s Grammar School, Evesham, and his home address in 1931 was Ashton Under Hill, Evesham, Worcestershire.He matriculated (the formal ceremony of admittance as a member of the University) in 1931. He held a Hulme Exhibition, founded in 1691 under the benefaction of William Hulme. He gained a Second Class degree in Modern History, and was awarded his B.A. on 18th October 1934 and his MA in 1944. He was resident from 1931-4.Mr Cave was President of the BNC Players, a Dramatic society.Mr Cave subsequently became a school master at King Edward VI’s School, Totnes, between 1935-8. He served with the Worcestershire Regiment in the alt. Reconnaissance Corps from 1942, as a Major. He undertook colonial service in Malaya from 1947, and was awarded an OBE in 1960.He married Margaret Louise Furneaux.
Later he lived in Totnes,Devonshire.He died in 1968.His issue:-
